Taking netting off for harvest

As we are at harvest time we need to take the netting off so that we can harvest the persimmons. As we harvest block by block we only take 1 or 2 blocks worth of netting off. Partly because of the birds (mainly the crows) and fruit bats because they have the potential to do some decent damage if they come in numbers!!

We also have scare guns to scare off the birds during the day when the netting is off and when we haven't started harvesting yet.
