Who knew fruit could get sunburnt! This photo is a great example of some sunburn damage on the fruit. When we get extremely hot days in the summer, the fruit can get severely burnt like these ones. However, the netting lets say, acts as sunscreen. It is a protective barrier for the fruit and helps reduce the sunburn on the fruit. These pieces here weren't under the netting so they got burnt.
