Spring time frosts

Last week we had a few nights where it got very cold.....frost cold. Unfortunately some parts of the orchard aren't protected by the frost fans and so these trees got severely damaged. We hope they will come back but it is a wait and see game as they were only just recently planted.

The first photo is what they should look like, the other two are what the damaged trees look like.

This is a great example of why we need frost protection in our orchard. If they were not protected, many trees would die, and we would not get much fruit from the ones that survived.
