Irrigating the pivot paddock

We are again watering, but this time in the pivot paddock. We are also watering it so that the weeds germinate and then get sprayed before we plant sub-clover.

Growing the clover is apart of our crop rotation which allows the soil to have a break from heavy crops such as wheat. Clover has a relationship with a bacteria that fixes nitrogen to its roots. It allows nitrogen gas to be turned into fixed nitrogen that can be taken in by plants
