The photo doesn't quite pick up the colour on this piece of fruit but the top around the calyx is still a bit yellow/green. So the fruit isn't quite ripe enough. However we will be starting late next week!
If we picked now the persimmons wont be quite as sweet and full of flavour as a piece of fruit that is ripe and ready to harvest.
