Mulching!

Last week we had finished mulching the trees. We mulch the trees for a few reasons. One is that it helps prevent weeds growing under the trees which means less spraying. The second reason is overtime the microorganisms in the soil slowly break it down over a number of years, incorporating it in the soil which improves soil organic matter content and some nutrients. This year we had put some clover mulch down as well as straw which is being put out in the video!
