Chris and Belinda Stillard grow Gold Dragon Sweet Persimmons at Barooga on the Murray River. The Stillard family has farmed the land here for 116 years.

Chris is the fourth generation Stillard to manage the farm which is now one of the largest producers of sweet persimmons in Australia.

Last harvest season (2024) we had a film crew along with Thanh Truong come out to the farm to learn all thing persimmons. You can watch the episode on persimons on SBS On Demand. Search "Field to Feast" there are many different episodes on different foods!
